Research Assistant Analytical Development

Overall purpose of the job:
Within the R&D department as part of the Analytical Development group you will be responsible for executing experiments for the development of new product. You are part of the team that is responsible for the development and qualification of biochemical and chromatographical methods and for protein characterization of new products. For this job you need to have strong technical skills.

Main general duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute experiments and documentation to produce reliable and accurate data.
  • Support development and qualification of biochemical and/or chromatographic assays (e.g. ELISA, activity assays, blotting, electrophoresis, (U)HPLC assays) including reporting.
  • Writing/ updating Standard Operating Procedures and the supporting documentation.


  • Bachelor in (analytical) chemistry, biochemistry and/or molecular biology.
  • Experience with liquid chromatography and/or biochemical and/or molecular biological assays.
  • Experience in writing study protocols and/ or report. 
  • Accurate and flexible.
  • Language skills: good knowledge of English, both in word and writing.
